In 1956, Svanefors took shape, with a couple of looms in the mill in Torestorp, curtains were woven. Since the water was called Svansjö, the creator Svanhäll and the business took advantage of the rapids, Svanefors became a natural name.

Textiles and patterns that are different, but always with one thing that unites them - namely Swedish design. Our textiles are available in a range of variants for every room in the home. The idea is to create a whole and produce interior details that match and complement each other. And everything should have the special feeling that is Svanefors' signature - naturalness and simplicity.
Svanefors believes in creating products that last a long time. They achieve this through timeless design and high quality. When they develop new products for their range, they always try to use sustainable and natural materials such as jute, linen and wool. As a further step in their sustainability work, they collaborate with the lifestyle and interior design brand The Straw, which creates new products from Svanefors' waste material, thereby giving their fabrics a whole new life.
